APPIN EQUESTRIAN CENTRE was established in 1973 and is set in the pleasant East Lothian countryside approximately 17 miles from Edinburgh City Centre.

  • We are a friendly, professional centre with qualified instructors.
  • Our aim is to train clients in all aspects of riding and horse care.
  • All standards of rider are accepted from the beginner to those pursuing a competitive interest with pupils individually assessed and instructed accordingly.
  • Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 6 riders ensuring instructor/client contact.
  • Stabling for 30 horses ensures we have horses and ponies available to suit all levels, ages and ability.
  • Own a Pony and tailored day courses available for children and adults.
  • Facilities available include a large indoor arena with integral viewing gallery, modern barn stabling, outdoor paddocks, television/video equipment and ample car parking.
  • We personally ensure that everyone is treated individually with the care and consideration that only a dedicated team can offer.
