Own a Pony
Super popular with children from 5 to 12 these days provide the ideal opportunity to “experience” the practical side of owning your own pony – catching, feeding, bedding, grooming, washing and tacking up all under direct instruction together with lessons and gymkhana games.

Day Courses
Day courses are available for children of 10 years and older and can also be individually tailored for adults.

The day course is packed full of riding with up to 3 different riding sessions throughout the day together with hands on stable management instruction.

Day courses can be extended to 2 or 3 days, again to suit individual requirements.

Work experience with daily riding
Appin offers the opportunity to gain a unique insight into the fun and hard work of a week in a busy yard.

Working with a dedicated team of grooms and instructors you will gain practical experience in caring for a variety of horses and ponies. You will learn to appreciate the individual character of our riding school horses and ponies to ex racehorses retraining for a career in the Dressage Arena.

Riding daily with the opportunity to be taught on a variety of horses these courses must be booked directly with Anne Montgomery to establish a profile of your experience and knowledge before tailoring a course to meet your specific individual requirements.

This course is a wonderful opportunity to allow clients to consider horse ownership, perhaps a career in the equestrian industry, equally as a refresher course or confidential boost to further your skills.
